The first painting we went to see was naturally Leonardo da Vinci's 'La Gioconda', ' La Joconde' or best known as 'Mona Lisa'. As I was traveling on wheels, the security guard accomodated me and moved all the other tourists out of the way so I could have a very good look.

Here was another painting that caught my eye with the bonnets. I didn't catch who the painter was though!

This is a painting called 'Bonaparte Crossing the Alps'. It was painted by Paul Delaroche in 1848.

This is an interesting painting by Jean Auguste Dominique Ingres Montauban (wow, what a name!) called The grand odalisque. I'll have to explain to you in person what makes it so unique.
