Red Hat Day - April 25, 2005
Our Red Hat Dinner at the Signature Grand hotel in Davie, Florida was terrific and Betty and I were lucky enough to sit in the Entrance Hall to hand out the cards to each person who registered. That, my dears, was a show in and of itself. Most did not know the name of the Chapter they belonged to and we were supposed to find the cards. 840 people! Sue Robinson was in charge and Clarence came along to take pictures all evening. The pictures are on the website http://www.RedHatDay.US
Dinner was good and served very well with Pomp and Circumstance and Chris Mac Donald (Elvis impersonator) as the Entertainment. That's another story.
We left at 10 PM but did not win any baskets at the Chinese Auction. Maybe next time!
Everyone complimented my hat.
